A North Eastern Railway Wooden Cased Semaphore Signal Repeater with an early ivorine plate "1. NORTH DOCK JCT", with home signal on brass post with decorative finial and "On/Out Of Order/Off" indicators in red, green, black, 8_"x4_". North Dock Junction was on the Sunderland-Newcastle route between Monkwearmouth & Seaburn. The branch to Sunderland North Dock closed in 1966.
