Lot 5 A Smokebox Numberplate "41528", from a Midland Railway 1528 Class (later Class 0F) 0-4-0T, the Class leader, built at Derby in August 1907 and rebuilt in 1928. A long time Staveley engine right up to 1965, it spent its final months at Langwith Junction from where it was officially withdrawn in December 1966, although it had been in store first at Staveley and then at Langwith since October 1965. After a further period in store at Canklow, it was eventually cut up at Arnott Young, Parkgate & Rawmarsh in April 1967. Repainted
