| Lot 85 | A Smokebox Numberplate "69552", from LNER N2/2 Class 0-6-2T built by Beyer Peacock & Co, Works No 6212, in March 1925, LNER No 2585, later 9552. In BR days it saw service from a wide range of sheds, Colwick, Hatfield, Kings Cross, Parkeston, Kings Cross again, Hornsey and finally Grantham from where it was withdrawn in May 1960. It was cut up at Doncaster Works the following month. Front repainted. |
