A locomotive Worksplate "KERR, STUART & Co. LTD. LONDON & STOKE, No 4255, 1922", from a 2ft gauge 0-4-0ST which went new to Quartzite Quarries Ltd, Cromhall, Charfield, Gloucestershire and worked on a narrow gauge tramway serving the Quarries which was abandoned in about 1940. This locomotive remained on site in an exceedingly decrepit condition for a further twenty years before disposal to Pearse & Co Ltd, Exeter for scrap in February 1960. A copy photograph of the engine in store accompanies the lot. Cast brass oval 127/8x6_", ex loco condition.
