A GWR Cast Iron Cabside Numberplate "5405", from a GWR 5400 Class 0-6-0PT built at Swindon in December 1931, the Class being auto-fitted for branch passenger services. It was allocated new to Banbury and finished its GWR days at Southall. It moved later to Oswestry from where it was withdrawn in October 1957 and was cut up two months later at Swindon Works. The front repainted, the back primered.
