Auction Catalogue Notes and Announcements

1. All carriage prints are framed, unless specifically stated to be "original frame" are in modern frames in the original style. Prints are in fine condition unless otherwise stated. Please note that reflections may be visible on photographs of glazed examples.
2. Lots described as "repainted" have, in our opinion, been repainted since railway ownership. Where no colour is indicated items are white on black background. References to repainted front or back indicate that this side has been repainted and not the other.
3. Totems and other enamel signs: (f/f) = fully flanged, (h/f) = half flanged. Where reference is made to edge chipping, this indicates the usual wear caused by the passage of time, as opposed to face chips or other damage sustained in service.
4. Item sizes quoted in the catalogue are for guidance only and are not intended to convey the precise dimensions.
5. Telephone enquiries concerning the auction can only be made up to 8.00 pm on the Thursday prior to the auction.
