A Diesel Locomotive Worksplate "NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY LTD, GLASGOW, 1959, No 27883", from BR Class 22 D6310 which went new to Westbury in January 1960 and was withdrawn from Bristol Bath Road in March 1971. It was cut up at BREL Swindon in May 1972. Cast brass diamond, 13_"x5_", the front cleaned and polished. This plate is from an early member of the class and has the traditional pointed ends, later locos carried plates which were slightly rounded.
