| Lot 21 | A GNR Three Aspect Handlamp, with brass plate "GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY, MOLESWOOD, 5", the body is stamped "GNR 4264" the top "GNR 4260" (it was obviously swapped with another lamp at Molewood). The lamp is complete with its fixed vessel, screw-in filler cap, burner and reflector. It has a copper cone, double piecrust top and glasses, including the early green variety. Molewood Signal Box was situated on the Hertford North to Stevenage route, close to the tunnel of the same name. |
