A GWR Signal Box Nameboard "WHITEBALL SIDING SIGNAL BOX", cast iron, 90" long, original paintwork. A famous Devon location on the West of England Main Line, the box was situated at the south end of Whiteball Tunnel between Wellington and Tiverton Junction. It was from the summit near the box that "City of Truro" commenced the record breaking part of her famous journey in 1904.
