| Lot 48 | A Locomotive Worksplate "ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS LTD, 7034, NEWCASTLE & DARLINGTON, 1940", from a 0-4-0ST O/C ex works on the 9th of June 1941. It went new to Swansea Hematyte Iron Co Ltd, Landore which was later taken over by Richard Thomas & Baldwins Ltd. It was scrapped in about February 1969. Cast brass oval, 12 7/8x8_", the front repainted blue, the back untouched. |
