A Locomotive Worksplate "ANDREW BARCLAY SONS & Co LIMITED, CALEDONIA WORKS No 828, 1898, KILMARNOCK", from a 0-6-0ST new to Fife Coal Co Ltd at Bowhill Colliery, Cardenden, which became part of the NCB, Area 1, in January 1947. The engine moved to Aitken Colliery, Kelty in about 1950 and two years later to Central Workshops, Cowdenbeath. It was scrapped in August 1953. Cast brass oval, 16_"x11_", the front polished and repainted black, the back untouched with "Loco 27" visible in very old paint, dating from the time the plate was fitted.
