Lot 54 A Locomotive Worksplate "LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 8129 STRATFORD WORKS, 1921", from a Great Eastern Railway Class B74, LNER Y4 Class, 0-4-0T built at Stratford in January 1921, one of a Class of only five engines which were extremely large and powerful for their wheel arrangement and worked in the Stratford area all their lives. It was GER/LNER No 7210, was classed as a Service Locomotive at Grouping, renumbered 8129 in 1946, 68129 by BR and Departmental No 33 in 1952. It shunted at Stratford Old Works until these closed in 1963 when it was withdrawn. Brass oval 9"x5", ex loco condition.
