A Stockton & Darlington Railway 3-Aspect Handlamp, with square front, piecrust top and wire rear handles. A fine embossed brass plate on the side reads "S&DR Co". It is complete with its interior fittings, though lacks the red glass, and is unrestored. The lamp was recovered from a shed at Barnard Castle station in the early 1960s.
