Lot 79 A locomotive Worksplate "BRUSH SULZER, No 532, 1964", from a BR Class 47 D1770 which entered traffic at Tinsley in April 1964, was renumbered 47175 in February 1974 and 47575 in March 1981 and named "City of Hereford" in June 1985. The nameplates were removed in August 1999. After a period out of service it was restored at Old Oak Common in May 2001 as part of the newly formed heritage fleet but was placed in store in March 2003. Cast aluminium oval, 9_"x55/8", the plate has original paintwork on the front, the back is lightly cleaned.
 This lot sold for £300
