| Lot 191 | A GWR Brass Cabside Numberplate "6677", from a GWR 5600 Class 0-6-2T built at Swindon in September 1928 and allocated new to Cardiff Cathays. It was at Stourbridge Junction by the end of its GWR days and remained there until November 1961 when it moved to Pontypool Road from where it was withdrawn in January 1963. After a period in store at Pontypool Road, it was cut up at Cashmores, Great Bridge the following June. Unrestored with original paintwork, the numbers lightly polished. |
