Lot 451 A Locomotive Worksplate "No 4759, 1936, THE VULCAN FOUNDRY, (LIMITED), NEWTON-LE-WILLOWS, LANCASHIRE", from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8082 which became BR 48082. Its BR sheds were Wellingborough, Toton, Westhouses, Hasland and finally Springs Branch, Wigan from where it was withdrawn in April 1967. After a period in store at Springs Branch, it was cut up at Drapers, Hull the following November. Cast brass oval, 9"x 5_", ex loco condition.
 This lot sold for £180
