A Locomotive Worksplate "GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY Co, MAKERS, DONCASTER, No 1550, 1922", from a GNR Class J23, LNER J50/2 Class, 0-6-0T built in December 1922, GNR No 227. It became LNER No 3227, was renumbered 8926 in 1946, becoming BR 68926. In BR days it was shedded at Doncaster, Immingham, Hornsey and back to Doncaster from where it was withdrawn in February 1962, to be cut up the same month at the nearby Works. Fully engraved brass oval, 12_"x7_", front polished, back untouched.
