| Lot 23 | A Diesel Locomotive Worksplate "NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY LTD, GLASGOW, 1959, 27888", from a BR Class 22 B-B No D6315 which entered traffic at Laira in January 1960 and was withdrawn from there in May 1971. After seven months in store at Marsh Junction, Bristol, it was cut up at BREL Swindon in January 1972. Cast brass diamond, 12_"x5_", the face cleaned and lightly polished, the back lightly cleaned but with plenty of signs of wear. |
