| Lot 35 | A Great Western Railway cast iron Cabside Numberplate "3718", from an 8750 Class 0-6-0PT built at Swindon in February 1937 and allocated new to Duffryn Yard where it spent the whole of its working life, being withdrawn from there in May 1962. After a period in store at its home shed, it was cut up at Cashmores, Newport in the October. The plate has been repainted long ago. |
