| Lot 44 | A Single Line Key Token "HERTFORD NTH - WELWYN GARDEN CITY", (chromed steel, inscription on brass plate), from the Great Northern Railway branch which joined the GER route to Broxbourne. Passenger services were withdrawn on the 18th June 1951, with the route closing in 1966 west of Hertford East Junction. The token has a copper loop attached which carries a small key, possibly for a ground frame or crossing gate, and two circular cutouts in the head. |
