| Lot 45 | A Locomotive Worksplate "LMS, REBUILT 1925, DERBY". Engines rebuilt that year with type G6 or G7 Belpaire boilers were all Midland Railway 1873 Class 0-6-0s, MR Nos 27XX, becoming LMS Nos 37XX. Some survived into BR days, numbered in the 437XX series. Cast brass oval, 10_"x6", unrestored, without paint, small stress fracture at right bolt hole. |
