A Locomotive Owners Plate "THE PROPERTY OF ANGLO-AMERICAN RHODESIAN DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LTD", believed to refer to the actual owning company of Wankie Colliery Ltd in Rhodesia and may have been attached to a loco owned by them. They purchased four 4-8-2s similar to the SAR Class 19D from North British Locomotive Co in 1954 and three ex SAR Class 16DA 4-6-2s which were later replaced by three ex Rhodesian Railway 19th Class 4-8-2s built by Henschel in 1951 and later bought or hired several RR 15th Class Garratts. Cast brass 13_"x5", the front cleaned and repainted red, the back untouched.
