A Locomotive Worksplate "BLACK HAWTHORN & Co, ENGINEERS, GATESHEAD ON TYNE, No 971, 1890", from a 0-6-0ST O/C which went new to Holmside & South Moor Collieries Ltd at Craighead Colliery where it was named "Craighead". It had been rebuilt by Hawthorn Leslie by 1911. It became National Coal Board property in January 1947 when it was numbered "NCB 38" but denamed, and sent to Morriston Busty Colliery. It was cut up in January 1966. Cast brass oval 15_"x10", the front background repainted black with red centre panel, the back untouched
