| Lot 81 | A Smokebox Numberplate "61124", from an LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 built by North British Locomotive Co, Works No 25880, in February 1947, original number 1124. A long-time Doncaster engine, it was withdrawn from there in September 1962 and cut up at the nearby Works two months later. The numbers repainted, otherwise completely untouched, with original black paintwork (a 1963 Doncaster Sales Receipt accompanies this lot). |
