A Great Western Railway Brass Cabside Numberplate "1428", from a 1400 Class 0-4-2T built at Swindon in November 1933 as No 4828 and renumbered 1428 in November 1946. It was allocated new to Reading, finished its GWR days at Croes Newydd and went later to Oswestry, Landore, Goodwick and Gloucester from where it was withdrawn in June 1959. Following periods in store at Swindon Works and Barry Docks, it was cut up at Woodhams, Barry by November 1960. The front repainted, the back untouched.
