| Lot 89 | A Locomotive Worksplate "THE BRITISH THOMSON HOUSTON Co LTD, RUGBY, ENGLAND, DIESEL ELECTRIC No 1126, 1959" (B.T.H. emblem in centre), from a BR Class 15 Bo-Bo No D8228 which was actually ex works in June 1960 and allocated new to Ipswich. It was withdrawn from Stratford in March 1971 and cut up at BREL Crewe the following December. Cast brass oval 107/8"x61/8" in ex loco condition with black paintwork. |
