| Lot 20 | A Southern Railway Sykes three-position double line Block Instrument, with an enamel plate "PORTSLADE", complete with commutator, brass slide, Up and Down Line enamel plates and the Down Line indicator mounted above the case. Additionally a Sykes brass maker's plate is attached on the front of the case. Portslade signal box was situated on the Brighton to Worthing line, the adjacent station having the suffix "and West Hove". |
