| Lot 30 | A Smokebox Numberplate "73027", from a BR Standard Class 5MT 4-6-0 built at Derby and allocated new in December 1951 to Blackpool where it spent most of working life before moving briefly to the Western Region, first at St Philips Marsh and then Swindon from where it was withdrawn in February 1964. It was cut up at the nearby Works two months later. The front unrestored with original paintwork, the back repainted long ago, a neat repair at the left bolt hole. |
