A BR(NE) tangerine Fingerboard "WHITBY STOPPING TRAIN", painted wood, double sided, with steel bracket and two mounting bars. The board was used at Middlesborough station and directed passengers to the service via Staithes and the coast (most Esk Valley trains running from Stockton via Picton in this period). Overall 32_"x8".
