A Manchester South Junction and Altrincham Railway Seat Back Nameplate "KNOTT MILL", cast letters on shaped wood to form a pediment to the top bar of the platform seat. Overall 40"x7_" with the 4" mounting brackets below. Original white paintwork with black lettering and of pattern unique to this company. The station was situated just west of Manchester Oxford Road and was latterly known as Knott Mill and Deansgate.
