A Diesel Locomotive Worksplate "BRITISH RAILWAYS, DERBY BUILT, 1961, POWER EQUIPMENT BY SULZER AND COMPTON PARKINSON", from a BR Class 45 1Co-Co1diesel electric. Those built at Derby in 1961 were D20-D49, the last of which was named "The Manchester Regiment". All survived to be renumbered in the 45XXX series in 1973-5. Cast aluminium, 13"x6_", cleaned and the front repainted green with plenty of pitting on the back.
