Auction Catalogue: Great Central Railwayana, 12 July 2008

A London Transport enamel Station Sign in its original bronze frame, "WAY OUT AND TO PICCADILLY LINE, PLATFORMS 3,4 & 5". The sign was used at Holborn Kingsway and situated at a subway entrance, it is 89_"x14_", with a flat base and curved top to fit the roof of the subway. The lettering is black on white with "Piccadilly Line" in white on a blue panel with LT "targets" in red, blue and black at each side, excellent condition and of an interesting and unusual design.
