| Lot 81 | A Great Northern Railway three aspect Handlamp with brass plate "LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, PIPERSWOOD, BAWTRY". The matching top and body both stamped "GNR, 10269". The lamp is complete with its "doughnut" shaped vessel with brass filler cap, burner, reflector, double piecrust top and copper lens cone. Excellent restored condition other than the blue glass being cracked. The box was situated on the East Coast Main Line south of Doncaster. |
