| Lot 88 | A BR(M) maroon enamel Station Direction Sign "BRITISH RAILWAYS (totem) WIDNES CENTRAL STATION", (f/f), with a feathered arrow bisected by the word "station". The station was on the Great Central & Midland Joint Lines loop, which ran from Widnes East and West Junctions to Hough Green Junction on the Liverpool to Manchester route of the Cheshire Lines Committee. The loop closed on 5th October 1964. Excellent colour and shine with a couple of tiny rim chips. |
