| Lot 16 | A set of Electric Locomotive Numbers "E3146", from a BR Class 86 25kv Bo-Bo electric loco built by English Electric and Vulcan Foundry, Works Nos 3727 and E387, in April 1966 for the West Coast Main Line. It was renumbered 86017 in August 1973, 86317 in February 1981 and 86417 in February 1985 and was named "The Kingman" from July 1985 until April 1993 in honour of The Kings Regiment. It was withdrawn in November 2003 and was cut up the following year at CF Booth, Rotherham. Cast aluminium, ex loco condition with blue/silver paint and brake dust to the rear. |
