| Lot 33 | A London and North Eastern Railway two aspect handlamp from Springhead Loco Shed, Hull. The top bears a brass plate "Sp.Head, No 60" while the side of the body is stamped "Sp.Hd, No 60" and embossed "LNER LOCO" opposite. The lamp is complete with its interior, brass bezel and piecrust top, although the internal white glass is cracked. Springhead was the former Hull and Barnsley Railway shed, situated in the north west of the city. |
