| Lot 35 | A Smokebox Numberplate "43249", from a Midland Railway 1873 Class 0-6-0 No 1922 built by Neilson & Co, Works No 4055, in 1890. It was renumbered 3249 in 1907 and retained this number under the LMS as a Class 3F. Its BR sheds were Nottingham and Kettering from where it was withdrawn in December 1959. It was stored at Kettering until November 1962 and cut up the following month at Derby Works. Superb ex loco condition with soot and original paintwork. |
