A Tyers North Eastern Railway Train Waiting Indicator, with tapper and small conical bell on top. A large engraved brass plate at the top reads "UP ADVANCE DARLINGTON LINE" behind the glazed face a circular aperture with a red bar on white background and the wording "RED AND WHITE DISC INDICATES TRAIN WAITING AT SIGNAL". A fine example, overall 17_" high, the case restored long ago.
