| Lot 63 | A set of Great Northern Railway Company oval cast iron nameplates from a Goods Yard Loading Gauge, (a) GNR, 6"x4", the back marked GNRS, (b) GER, 6"x4", (c) L&NWR, 6_"x4", each with raised lettering and bevelled edge, the fronts repainted. The plates were fitted to the vertical support of a goods yard loading gauge beside the hook for adjusting the gauge to that of the relevant company. |
