| Lot 72 | A Midland Railway Hotels enamel Advertising Sign, "QUEENS LEEDS-MIDLAND BRADFORD" showing a detailed black and white view of the hotels. 41"x 20", some chips, though still a fine old sign. Also with base sign "FAMOUS FOR GOOD COOKING, HOME COMFORTS, MODERATE CHARGES MIDLAND RAILWAY WM TOWLE HOTEL MANAGER", blue lettering and border on yellow, 96"x15". This pair were originally displayed together with two other hotel plates and a header. (2) |
