| Lot 75 | A French Electric Locomotive front Numberplate "BB 9217" from a French Railways Class BB9200 1500 volts dc electric loco, one of a batch of 92 locos built by Schneider-Jeumont and CEM France between 1957 and 1964 for high speed services at more than 160 kph. The loco is still in service, renumbered 109217. Incorporating the company roundel "SNCF" below with decorative speed whiskers at sides. Overall 80"x26", curved to fit the loco. The front polished and back untouched. A set of brackets to mount the plate on a wall are supplied. |
