| Lot 79 | A London and South Western Railway Milepost "204", which was situated on the down platform at Bridestowe Station, just west of Okehampton. Cast iron oval, 17"x8", the front cleaned but unpainted, the back with original green paint and post mark. A picture of the post in situ is published on page 55 of the Irwell Press book "The Okehampton Line" by Nicholas and Reeve (ISBN 1-903266-13-0). |
