| Lot 88 | A London and North Eastern Railway enamel Shed Allocation Plate "MEXBORO". This ex MS&LR shed used this code from about 1925 until the BR cast iron code was adopted in 1949. These enamel plates were carried inside the cab roof. Black on white, 10"x1_", a chip repair at the right end, the lettering fine. |
