A Great Western Railway brass signal box shelf plate "FRITWELL & SOMERTON", referring to a box between Aynho Junction and Heyford, on the Oxford to Banbury route, Fritwell station closing on the 2nd November 1964. Engraved lettering with much of its black wax infill, 4_"x1_", the back engraved "TO L&SW STARTING", with red wax infill, possibly from Exeter West Box!
