A Midland Railway large brass signal lever description plate "HOME FROM STAVELEY", from Bolsover signal box on the company's Staveley to Pleasley route, the southern end of which closed in 1930 leaving a branch from Staveley to Bolsover and Glapwell Colliery, until the section south of Bolsover closed in 1978. The plate is 143/8"x2_" with engraved lettering with some red wax infill remaining, the right end is rounded, the left square, with the whole plate slightly tapered toward the rounded end
