Lot 308 A Pullman Car wooden plaque bearing the company's coat of arms in gilt on a white background and "CAR MEDUSA", from a kitchen car built by the Midland Carriage and Wagon Co in 1924 and installed in 1950 when the bulkhead clock was removed. The car was withdrawn in September 1963 and sold to Taylor Bros of Manchester for scrap in January 1964. The car worked on the "Golden Arrow" in the post war years. The plaque is 9 3/4" diameter, with a few minor blemishes as is usual.
