| Lot 63 | A cast iron notice "FURNESS RAILWAYS CAUTION TO TRESPASSERS, .......", referring to the company's 1894 act and signed August 1894. The word "upon" has been riveted on to replace the word "along". This was probably a result of people arguing that they were not trespassing in "crossing" the line as they were not going "along" it. 26"x19 1/4", the front repainted white on brown. |
