A Great Western Railway splasher crest, carried by a 3031 Class Dean "Single" 4-4-2. This example represents the arms of Bristol, a serpent and scales. A remarkable survivor, approx 5"x5 1/2", originally mounted on the driving wheel splasher below the nameplate.
