An LMS "Hawkseye" target sign "LOW GILL", from the Lancaster and Carlisle section of the West Coast Main Line. The station which closed on 7th March 1960 was the junction for the Ingleton branch and was situated at the southern end of the Lune Gorge, between Grayrigg and Tebay. This example is 48" long and in fine original condition retaining its reflective yellow glass coating, which was usually overpainted maroon in early B.R. days.
